We loved the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the hostel. It felt like one big family. the staff, many of whom are British expats, made us feel right at home. They understand the needs of fellow travelers. the bar and lounge area were awesome hangout spots, perfect for meeting new people. the dorms were spacious and had super comfy beds. the bathrooms were clean and the water was hot. the location was great, close to the old town but still offering a different side of the city. a big thumbs up for us!
Felt like relaxing at home, no reason to complain.

The common area was perfect for relaxing and working, and the free tea, coffee, and Wi-fi were a nice bonus. The themed vibe and lively bar made my stay even better. Plus, the extra goodies in my room like curtains, fans, lights, and phone chargers were a pleasant surprise. The staff were very good too make sure I had a positive experience, addressing any issues promptly and even refunding me in cash. The rooms were quiet and I felt safe with the multiple code locks.
The breakfast selection could use improvement, with limited options available.

The hostel had a great pub where you could enjoy a cold beer and a chill-out area that was really relaxing. The location was perfect, situated in a nice part of the city near public transportation. Another advantage was the friendly staff who provided a warm welcome and even gave us a tour.
The bunk beds were a bit creaky and the pillows were too thin for my liking. However, considering the value, these were small issues that didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.

The interiors of Brix were fine, with a comfortable and artsy cafe-like atmosphere. I loved the abundance of couches and the ability to enjoy free tea or coffee. The staff, who were friendly volunteers, made me feel welcome and even gave me a tour of the hostel. The WIFI connection was consistently strong, and the beds and bathrooms were cleaned daily.
While the rooms were generally clean, there were some dusty areas that could have been improved. The room temperature was a bit too warm for my liking, making it a bit challenging to sleep comfortably.
